Heiligendamm, Schleswig Holstein, Germany
During the last two weeks, I visited the german island Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea. The island is connected by a bridge, that is called Fehmarn Sound Bridge. So you can ravel by car or by train to visit Fehmarn.
The biggest town is called Burg which has about 6000 inhabitants. In Puttgarden, there’s a Ferry harbour which allows you to go by ferry to Denmark. But there’s already a new project: Denmark wants to build a tunnel with a length of 18km to connect Denmark with Germany.
There is a beautiful bird reserve, looked after by the NABU, which is accesable for visitors and tourists.
Definetly worth to visit!
